MILO'S PICKIN' UP GOOD VIBRATIONS
Canegreen enjoyed instant payback on its investment in further Meyer Sound Milo line array speakers, 120 Milo wide-dispersion under-hang boxes and 700HP sub cabinets, when it serviced The Beach Boys' recent UK tour.
The new speakers' flexibility, being able to produce superb sound in any venue small or large, has again proven a perfect choice for a tour playing a range of diverse sized venues.
The Beach Boys' FOH engineer, Michael Swift commented: "The Milo line array is a very honest system; you get out what you put in. The sound is clear with no interference so there is no disruption to good music, just as there is no covering up bad music. After working with the Beach Boys for six years I have used a number of systems and I would use this system every day."
Since buying its first Meyer speakers in 1985, Canegreen has continually updated stocks to offer clients the best possible sound system. In 2003 it bought its first Milo line array system, which has proven popular right across the whole spectrum of live entertainment.
The new Milo line array's second outing from Canegreen is December's k.d. Lang tour, covering a range of venues including the Hammersmith Apollo and Birmingham Symphony Hall, whilst other Milo systems this month are on The Corrs' and Young Voices' tours.
Canegreen has also acquired a warehouse adjacent to its current headquarters, increasing warehousing space to 20,000 sq. ft., and also accommodating sister companies Green-i and Canegreen Commercial, which alongside Canegreen are experiencing rapid growth of demand.
