When record-breaking yachtswoman Ellen MacArthur arrived to a vibrant welcome at the historic naval Greenwich pier, celebrating her incredible single-handed sail around the world, Showsec ensured that her welcome was a safe one, for both her and the public who showed up to demonstrated the huge support for her.

Showsec was brought in by event management company, Off Shore Challenges, to secure the Greenwich site throughout the production build, leading up to Ellen's arrival when 42 Showsec employees were deployed.

Mark Turner, Project Manager at Off Shore Challenges, commented: "Due to the uncertain timing of Ellen's arrival, the whole event was organised at the last minute. Showsec responded extremely fast, they were 100% on the ball throughout the event and needed very little guidance."
