Soundcraft assemble DJ team as legendary UREI is reintroduced
Soundcraft have formed a new team to handle the range of DJ Mixer products that form the new UREI Series.

Paul Morrissey joins as Product Manager for DJ products and has been responsible for finalising the specs on several new DJ mixer products including the 1620LE, 1601 and 1601S launched at NAMM. Paul has years of experience with leading DJ mixer companies and is himself a circuit DJ, so is very familiar with market requirements.

Darren Elliott joins the Sales department of Soundcraft as Key Accounts Sales Manager with prime responsibility for the UK DJ market. Darren has more than 10 years experience exclusively in DJ, and has worked in both retail operations, manufacturing and distribution.

Darren worked with Paul at their last company, and the two are very excited about this new direction for Soundcraft.

Paul commented, "Soundcraft had a brief entry into the market some years ago, but bringing the UREI name back with these new products gives us instant familiarity to the DJ; our NAMM launches provide the best of analogue in the 1620LE (pictured) and advanced new digital mixing capabilities in the 1601 and 1601S, this is the start of a whole new era for Soundcraft and UREI products."
