Clay Paky illuminate sand sculptures
The lighting technology design was created by Pietro Tondello of Altair, who explains: "The Sandcastle Festival is an event that identifies the City of Jesolo, helping to make it known at world level. I thought that the 'light' element could both enhance the works and light up the environments hosting them. Light applications in an urban context can be varied and creative, in this case the art-light pairing was certainly a winning combination." The implementation of the lighting for the sculptures was the work of Rossi Luigi Service of Jesolo, who managed to interpret the needs of the sculptors and translate them into colour. Luigi explains: "We fitted the CP Colors with micro-lens diffusion filters, which allowed the beam to be extended up to 80° this ensured that every corner of the shed could be reached and uniformly lit. Furthermore, we used special weight balancing plates, also available as optional accessories, intended to ensure perfect stability to the projector on any mounting truss."
