Crescent Lighting - Crescent CL
Crescent CL is a linear LED colour change system that can be surface mounted or concealed to provide bold washes of coloured light. An extremely slim system - only 32mm in diameter - it can fit into most cornices and architectural niches or be subtly mounted on a wall or ceiling. The system is resin filled to achieve and ingress protection of IP68, so it can easily be used outside to wash coloured light over building exteriors, faŤades, gardens etc. It uses Luxeon™ Star LED's, the revolutionary high output source that, when correctly operated show excellent lumen maintenance - approximately 70% of initial output at 50,000 hours. By installing groups of Red, Green and Blue LED's and mixing their outputs, any colour can be obtained. The system is also available in a single colour version.
Crescent CL is available in 400mm, 600mm & 1200mm lengths. Using a combination of these most project sizes can be achieved. Each length needs it's own control unit, which also contain a power supply. The control unit, as well as providing the constant current power supply necessary to run the module, has a unique feed back circuit which monitors the temperature of the module and alters the supply to ensure that the LED are run at their optimum whatever the local conditions. There are a number of control options, from a simple wall plate to full DMX from a lighting desk.
