Color Kinetics - iColor Tile FX Color Kinetics introduces a canvas for unlimited creative expression with iColor Tile FX -- a sophisticated, tile system that, whether independently or as part of a grand-scale installation, distinguishes virtually any surface with previously unattainable color and effects. iColor Tile FX is a 2' by 2' (60cm by 60cm) panel that incorporates 144 individually addressable, tri-colour LED nodes to enable intricate designs for wide-ranging applications - from one decorative wall accent to an integrated, multi-system installation. Each node is powered by Color Kinetics' groundbreaking Chromasic(tm) microchip, which integrates digital LED control and communication to generate 64 billion colour combinations. The fine-grained control translates to whole new possibilities for creating images with light - from morphing colour waves, to animated objects, logos, emblems, and customized patterns. iColor Tile FX is designed for recess and surface mounting, and is ideal for retrofitting ceiling tiles and surfaces, or architectural wall designs. Versions of iColor Tile FX will support applications in dry, wet and damp environments. It can be controlled by Color Kinetics' line of controllers, including Light System Manager, the next-generation control and authoring system, and PDS-60ca, an advanced power/data supply that provides the option of pre-programmed light shows, Ethernet, or DMX control. |
