Lumidrives - Linkled
Knaresborough based company Lumidrives has launched LinkLED, a new Power LED system which is based around the Luxeon Power light source. Ideal for use in a multitude of applications including cove and cornice lighting and under counters, bars and reception desks, LinkLED is the fast solution for OEM's who recognise the advantages of a simple plug and play system. LinkLED is supplied with thermal adhesive backed PCB for direct assembly to metal surfaces and interconnecting leads are available from 50-300mm.
LinkLED offers a compact form factor of 38.0mm long, 14.0mm wide and 8.5mm high, a long lamp life of 50,000 hours and a high output of up to 30 lumens per LED with a power consumption of 1.2 watts. The new power LED system is complemented by a range of power drivers for mains and low voltage supplies and a flexible heat sink system for mounting to non thermally conductive surfaces, such as plaster, wood or plastics.
Compatible with Lumidrives' drivers, LinkLED is available in the usual colours including the new 3000k warm white LED.
Lumidrives' managing director, Gordon Routledge says of the product: "LinkLED is an ideal choice for many traditional lighting applications, offering advantages over established technologies such as neon and cold cathode."
