Griven brings to architectural lighting the latest cutting edge technology using high brightness and high efficiency 1.2W power LED units. The new LED series by Griven, which includes fittings for outdoor applications, underwater installations, and indoor use, have a multitude of benefits such as silent operation, instant response, continuously variable light intensity, durability and low power consumption.
DANUBE is the latest LED RGB colour changer innovation, using no less than 88 high brightness LED sources to achieve a much higher light output than from standard units. The extra power is contained in a remarkably compact unit.
The LED light sources have also an exceptionally long life: predicted 100,000 hours under normal operating conditions. The LEDs used are a mixture of red, green and blue to produce, via RGB electronic mixing, an endless palette of pastel or deep colours, which can crossfade slowly or be snap-changed as desired. A theoretical variety of 16,700,000 colour hues are available.
The on-board control system gives stand alone colour sequence control, with master/slave selectable from multiple unit synchronisation, or alternatively these units can be controlled from standard DMX512 or user-friendly remote infra red controllers. A choice of beam angle options is available to suit most requirements and the alternative lenses can also be purchased separately and retrofitted if necessary.
