Erco Axis Walklight

The Axis Walklight has been designed for safe, cost-effective lighting of areas such as stairs, ramps, platforms and pathways. The flat, wide beam of light evenly illumines footpaths and steps all the way to the front edge. The reflector system fully screens the LED module, ensuring optimum visual comfort. As a recessed wall luminaire, the Axis has a housing of corrosion-resistant cast aluminium with a double powder coated finish. The only visible part is its rectangular cover frame and Softec front lens. By installing the optional concrete housing at an early stage the exact positioning and the flush alignment of the luminaire is ensured.
The Axis Walklight is available in two versions: The white LEDs version can be connected to a mains voltage supply without additional control gear, simply using a 3-pole terminal block; a combination of luminaires is possible with through-wiring. Being IP 65 rated the luminaires are both dust-proof and protected against jets of water. The Axis Walklight in the varychrome version provides both safe lighting for pathways and the option of creative lighting effects. Using a separate controller, coloured LEDs in red, green and blue result in infinite and continuous variable mixture of colours. By selecting different colours, the Axis can be used for information or for the identification of places and routes.
