These vandal resistant linea fittings offer a high protection against the infiltration of dust and water and have an IP65 rating. They are also compliant with all London Underground Limited Standards including fire safety of materials and all internal wiring and connectors are low smoke and fume, containing zero halons. Survivor is available in two different materials: The laminated satin glass diffuser option conforms to all LUL section 12 station requirements (for use below ground and in high volume people traffic areas such as ticket offices and station platforms whereby no fumes can be emitted). The polycarbonate prismatic diffuser option conforms to all LUL non-section 12 station requirements (for use above ground where a small amount of fumes can escape into the atmosphere).
Survivor is also available in two different lengths (680mm or 1590mm) but can be made in continuous runs buttered end to end which is suited to station lighting. There is also a choice of lamp type - the 680 length fitting is designed for either one or two x 18 W T26 and the 1590 length fitting is designed for one or two x 58W T26. It comes as standard in white RAL 9016 but is also available in silver RAL 9006 on request.
