LB Lighting Limited have developed a flexible extruded silicon LED system which incorporates Osram linearflex modules mounted on a thermal management spine. The system is sealed to IP67 and has a minimum bend radius of 200mm. Available in RGB Colourmix or Red, Yellow, Green, Blue or White, the key feature of the system is continuity of light which is achieved by a specially designed joining junction that does away with an end cap style arrangement. It can be formed to enable LEDs to light either into or out of the formed arc.
Also in development is a linear LED system based on the new Osram Dragon high output system.
