      Hundreds of metres of innovative Kove T5 Lighting system, supplied by Light Projects Group, has been used to spectacular effect at the new 800,000 square foot Centrale Shopping Centre in Croydon. The architects are John Clark Associates and lighting consultants Hilson Moran Partnership. The centre is owned by St Martins Property Group.

      Manufactured by the Australian company Intralux, the Kove T5 has been specifically designed to create indirect, shadow free, illumination, while maintaining light output ratio's in excess of 84%.

      The inspired modular system incorporates the latest T5 fluorescent lamp technology and offers variants ranging from a low cost single lamp module through to a highly sophisticated RGB + White DALi controlled system. This latter 'Colourmix' system offers, 9 pre-set colours including 2 white, and the ability to have random colour changing.

      The flexibility of the system is enhanced via the unique modular Plug & Go concept which dramatically cuts overall installation time. Further advantages include an advanced reflector design, multiple dimming and switching options and fully integrated control gear.

      When complete Croydon Centrale will boast 70 new shops, stores and restaurants including a 200,000 sq foot Debenhams and 160,000 sq ft House of Fraser. Intralux light fittings are exclusively available in the UK from the Light Projects Group.
