Mike Stoane Lighting have been working with WWM Architects to develop an office light for T5 lamps based on their low energy boxlight for Amnesty International's headquarters in London. The Architects wanted to meet the technical requirements of the project with a brutally simple form and attention to detail that was not available in an existing product.
The volumes required on the job made it possible to invest in the necessary development work and tooling to expand the existing range and improve the design for manufacturability, ease of installation and performance.
The result is a range of slender T5 based extrusions suitable for many applications including the LG3 compliant office light which provides up light and louvered down light from an 80w T5 lamp, giving an impressive 67% LOR from a 60mm square profile.
The new range will feature on their stand at ARC 05.
