Lightgraphix - Side-emitting Fibre Optic Tube

LightGraphix has introduced a new luminaire into their extensive and diverse product portfolio, a side-emitting fibre optic tube. Currently available in two diameters of 19mm and 25.5mm, LightGraphix has designed this new fibre optic range so that the light is emitted through 60 degrees and options include static colour or colour change over time operation.

Capable of the continuous illumination of lengths of up to 20 metres this new fibre optic luminaire is ideal for the lighting of ceiling coffers and interior architectural features. It can also be built into furniture to create a decorative effect or feature illumination. Its flexibility, it can be bent to a minimum bend radius of 160mm, makes it ideal for decorative and signage applications particularly within the leisure industry for clubs, bars and restaurants. It is also being engineered so that it is suitable for both interior and exterior installation.

LightGraphix's new side emitting fibre optic tube has a high intensity output which is five times greater than conventional fibre optic luminaires. It is available with a choice of either a Halogen or metal halide source projector and is virtually maintenance free. The tube itself requires no maintenance with only the lamp within the projector, which has a rated life of up to 8,000 hours, requiring replacement.
