Advanced Fiber Optics - Microbraid Advanced Fiber Optics has, over the years, developed a very extensive range of lightsources ranging from 50W halogen to 250W metal halide, including animation, synchronisation and DMX functionality. They also manufacture end fittings for most fiber optic applications and can supply custom solutions for larger projects. Endlight and sidelight fibres are manufactured locally. Their newly developed Microbraid° sidelight is a great achievement in sidelight technology providing even light output on lengths up to 50m between lightsources. Custom fibre can also be made on demand and have included a 52mm sidelight in the past. The main advantage gained by using the Advanced Fibre Optics system is their patented Dry Fusion System° which permits distributors to make their own fibre bundles on-site. This presents a great advantage for both the distributor and end client as tails can be adjusted on site and do not require you to specify the tail lengths in advance. The installation is also simplified as it is much easier to install individual fibres instead of a prepared fibre bundle. Custom animations can also be provided to create eye-catching displays, logos and other dynamic features. |
