The Lightlab - Fibre Optic Weave The Lightweave has been developed using side-emitting glass fibre which is woven together into a cloth of light. The weft can be nylon or stainless steel, creating a malleable material, which can be sculptured into shapes or incorporated into design features. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, the fibre is lit by a 150W metal halide light source, allowing the cloth to be lit for lengths of up to 8m and 1.2m width. By adding a colour effect wheel, the fibre can be colour changing and linked to a DMX control unit giving full remote colour change control. Bring your design ideas to life with the Lightweave.
